Schools and groups are offered a free five minute talk in the Ginger Pop shop comparing Enid Blyton with Jacqueline Wilson provided they then give their group five minutes to browse in the shop afterwards!

The shop is small, and can hold 15 if they have their bags & coats on their feet!  There is plenty to buy for groups interested in WWII and a large collection of toys under £1, all without batteries.

Blyton books for under 8s

One of the reasons that Enid Blyton was a genius was that she could write appropriately for children age 3 – 13.  Are your youngsters missing out on Amelia Jane and Mr Pinkwhistle?  Blyton was vehemently anti-bullying and her stories for younger children were often about the moral dilemmas faced by ordinary children at home & school.
