The Ginger Pop Book Club gives customers of The Ginger Pop Shop an opportunity to explore a wide range of Enid Blyton’s works with like minded people.  Participants can either attend the monthly events at Corfe Castle Town Hall, or follow the book reviews online through the Ginger Pop web site.

How it works.  Vivienne will write about some “talking points” of the book to be discussed, which will be made available both online and through the Ginger Pop shop during the month prior to the meeting.  Those who participate online can e-mail back their comments, which will then be included during the discussion at the Town Hall.  A summary of this real discussion will then be posted back on the website after the event.  As well as discussing the main book, seasonal poems and nature notes will also be read out loud during the session at the Town Hall.

Participants are encouraged wherever possible to get hold of original text versions of the books.  However, in case of difficulty, Ginger Pop can supply a current version which may have some alterations to the text.
